For the Star Journal
Two Kocourek dealerships in Rhinelander have been acquired by Dahl Automotive. The new dealership names are Dahl Honda Rhinelander and Dahl Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Rhinelander. Dahl has also purchased two Kocourek dealerships in Stevens Point.
“We are excited to welcome over one hundred new team members to the Dahl Automotive family,” said Andrew Dahl, president of Dahl Automotive, in a news release. “The Kocourek organization is known for its operational excellence, team engagement and community impact. We are honored to have the opportunity with Kocourek on these four stores in two great markets.”
Keith Kocourek, president of Kocourek Automotive added, “Dahl Automotive is well known in the state of Wisconsin as a multi-generational 100-year-old business with an honest hard working family that takes care of their team members. Selling these stores allows the Kocourek organization to further invest in the Wausau market for years to come.”
With the acquisitions, Dahl enters the central and northcentral Wisconsin markets, adds two more Honda stores to their current Honda dealership in Onalaska, and reintroduces the Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM brands back to its portfolio. The Dahl family had Chrysler dealerships from the 1940’s-1970’s out of state. The Dahl Automotive group grows to 10 dealerships in total in Minnesota and Wisconsin, representing 13 brands and employing 525 team members.
