RHINELANDER – The Ahlstrom Rhinelander Paper Mill and their employees continued their long-term partnership with a 2024 pledge donation to the local United Way campaign. Members of the United Steel Workers Locals 2-15 and 2-1778, along with non-union employees pledged $28,531 to benefit programs in the community.
“We are proud to continue our long-term partnership with United Way and are grateful for the generosity of our Ahlstrom team members that contribute to this yearly campaign,” said Dan McGreaham, Plant Manager.
“The employees at this facility have been wonderful supporters of our community over the years,” said Nancy Sattler, Northwoods United Way executive director. “Their donations go a long way in helping to strengthen our area.”
Northwoods United Way is wrapping up their 2023 campaign in four weeks and Sattler noted they are still looking for support in order to meet their goal. Contact Sattler at 715-202-3344 for more information.
