Obituary: Russel Van Brakel Jr.
Russel A. Van Brakel Jr., age 83 of the town of Pine Lake, died Saturday, Dec. 26, 2020, with his family at his side. He was born March 24, 1937, in Chicago to Russel A. and Helen (Tuttle) Van Brakel Sr.
Russel is survived by his wife, Audrey; sons, Andrew (Kathleen) Van Brakel of Canton, Mich., and David (Beryl) Van Brakel of South Lake, Texas; sister, Diana Behling of Harshaw; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Van Brakel. There will be no public visitation or service. (Hildebrand Funeral Home)
