Thaddeus Heck placed first in the 100-yard breaststroke.

The first swim meet of the season was a conference matchup with Tomahawk at the Heck Community Pool Tuesday. The Hodag boys won all of the 11 events and placed second in eight of them to defeat  the Hatchets 107-58. Senior Nolan Francis came back to swim his senior year and broke the pool record for the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 53.56. Photos by Bob Mainhardt.
