STAR JOURNAL REPORT

The four adults arrested Wednesday in connection with a drug bust were charged in Oneida County court Friday.

Bridget L. Towne, 36 of Rhinelander was charged with four felonies and Richard S. Cody, 41 of Rhinelander, was charged with three felonies, all related to the manufacture and delivery of methamphetamine. Cash bond for Towne and Cody was set at $15,000 each.

Also in court today was Jennifer L. Davis, 43 of Rhinelander, who lives at the residence on Candy Lane with Towne and Cody, said the two were manufacturing meth inside the home. Davis was charged with manufacture/deliver amphetamine/conspiracy to commit (<=3g), and two other drug-related felonies. Cash bond was set at $3,500.

Allan J. Bronk, 39 of Minocqua was arrested and charged with purchasing pseudoephedrine for another with intent to facilitate the manufacture of meth. In an interview with investigators, Bronk Reportedly said he had been asked by Towne and Cody to purchase pseudoephedrine on multiple occasions but did not manufacture meth. Cash bond for Bronk was set at $400.

According to the criminal complaint, a search warrant executed on Candy Lane in the town of Pelican Thursday resulted in the confiscation of cell phones, store receipts for batteries, camp fuel, drain cleaner and allergy medicines, plastic baggies containing white powder, coffee filters and “numerous bottles and other vessels that appeared to be used in the manufacture of methamphetamine.”

All four will be back in court later this month.
