Virginia Rose Catlin, age 100 of Rhinelander, died Feb. 18 with her family at her side. Virginia was born Aug. 27, 1917 in Merrill, to Lula (Haesley) and William Amborn.

She is survived by her seven children, Pinky (Pete) DeLoye, Pat (Linda) Catlin, Mike (Darla) Catlin, Candy (John) Adams, Jim (Ruth) Catlin, Deb (Don) Knutson, Craig (Heidi) Catlin; 19 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren.

Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Vern; infant daughter, Cindy Lou; two brothers, Melvin and Billy; one sister, Geneva and dear friend, Dorothy Owens.
