Obituary: Patricia Jo Starkey Ottman

Patricia Jo Starkey Ottman, 76, of Rhinelander died Monday, June 10, 2013, in Marshfield. She was born March 16, 1937, in Washington, DC. She is survived by seven children, Raymond Joseph (Daniel Baseman) of Minneapolis, Minn., Kathryn Jo of Laurel, Md., Daniel Craig (Rose) of Rhinelander, Cynthia Ann (Roy) Kelling of Rhinelander, Richard Albert of Rhinelander, Stephan Andrew (Shelley) of Wausau and Jennifer Elizabeth (Casey) Sackett of Rhinelander; two brothers, Grant Starkey of Greencastle, Penn., and Wayne Starkey of Walkersville, Md.; a sister, Mary Beth Schmidt of Hollywood, Md.; two sons-in-law, Don Durre of Nappanee, Neb., and Jeff Bargmann of Omaha, Neb.; 18 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cletus, and a daughter, Diana Marie. She was a hands-on grandmother and her grandchildren meant the world to her. A funeral service will be held Saturday, June 16, at noon at Hildebrand-Russ Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff O’Malley officiating. Visitation will be Friday, June 15, at the funeral home from 4 to 7 p.m. and again Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Cemetery. A memorial has been established in Pat’s name and may be directed to the family. (Hildebrand-Russ Funeral Home)
