Rhinelander airport to offer additional daily flight
For the Star Journal
RHINELANDER – Travelers to the Northwoods will have an additional opportunity to catch a flight this summer.
The Rhinelander-Oneida County Airport Commission announced an additional seasonal Delta Connection flight from Rhinelander-Oneida County Airport (RHI) to the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) beginning May 20 through Sept. 9, 2024. This early-afternoon round-trip flight is expected to make it easier and more convenient for travelers who are flying to and from RHI during the busy summer travel season.
Flights will be operated by SkyWest Airlines via Delta Connection utilizing dual-class CRJ-700 and CRJ-900 aircraft.
“On behalf of chair Patrick Marquart, commissioners Geoffrey Weller and Bradley Kowieski, I wish to extend our gratitude to SkyWest and Delta Air Lines for their strong commitment to the furtherance of commercial air service for Rhinelander and the surrounding region,” said Matthew Leitner, RHI Airport director. “This represents the culmination of a comprehensive effort involving many parties committed to our airport’s continued growth and success.”
