Taste of Chocolate returns to downtown Rhinelander
For the Star Journal
RHINELANDER – Chocolate lovers have 1,500 chances to purchase locally made chocolate in the weeks leading up to Valentine’s Day. 2024 Downtown Rhinelander Inc’s Taste of Chocolate fundraising event is underway. Visit participating downtown businesses to purchase a $5 chocolate bar that will satisfy a sweet tooth and support DRI and local businesses at the same time.
“This is a large fundraiser for our Downtown organization,” said Bob Lueder, DRI president. “Visit our local businesses, purchase chocolate bars for family and friends and support your local businesses.”
DRI partnered with the Fun Factory Sweet Shoppe to produce 15 specialty chocolate bar flavors that will be sold in participating businesses for $5.
In addition to the chocolate bar, with each purchase comes the chance to be an instant winner. Each bar will have ticket that could be a winner of Downtown Bucks ranging from $5 to $20 or coupons from various businesses. Don’t delay in making a purchase; only 1,500 chocolate bars will be sold.
Plus, be on the lookout for a Golden Ticket. There are only 15 chocolate bars that have Golden Tickets and those who find one are entered into the Grand Prize drawing for $500 in Downtown Bucks. Customers can purchase as many chocolate bars from as many businesses as they would like in their quest to find a golden ticket.
Chocolate bars will remain on sale until Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14, while supplies last. A list of participating businesses can be found on the Downtown Rhinelander Inc. Facebook page.
The Friday night special event returns Feb. 9, which will feature special deals at participating businesses.
Taste of Chocolate is sponsored by Nicolet Bank. For more information, contact Bob at Plane Parts Inc. 715-420-0168 or the Rhinelander Chamber 715- 365-7464.
