Law enforcement seeks assistance with investigation

RHINELANDER – The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office and the Wisconsin Department of Justice-Division of Criminal Investigation, in connection with other northern law enforcement agencies, are requesting assistance from the public in obtaining information about any criminal incidents involving Frank Schuman, 29, of Lac du Flambeau.

The current investigation involves incidents where Schuman is alleged to have committed violent acts against women. Schuman, a mixed martial arts fighter has been recently charged in Oneida County court with several counts of battery, first degree recklessly endangering safely and false imprisonment. He remains jailed on a $10,000 cash bond.

Anyone with information about Schuman’s involvement in these types of incidents or has had contact with alleged victims of these incidents is asked to contact law enforcement at 715-361-5201.
