Veterans Day observed in Rhinelander

The Oneida County Veterans Service Office held a Veterans Day ceremony at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 11 in the courthouse rotunda.  U.S. Army veteran and American Legion Post 7 commander Robert Smith was the guest speaker. Local veterans organizations, members of the community, the Nativity of our Lord Junior High School choir attended.

A Veterans Day observance will take place at 8:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 12 at the Hodag Dome. It will feature the James Williams Middle School band and choir and a number of speakers. The event will also be streamed live on hodagtv.com.
