Ralph Edwin Staus, age 82 of Rhinelander, died unexpectedly Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2020, at home. He was born April 26, 1938, in Waukesha to Frederick and Edna May (Bergles) Staus.

Ralph is survived by his wife, Rita of Rhinelander; children, Anne (David) Osterwind of Glendale, Ty (Tanya) Satus of Wausau; son-in-law, Tom Zimmer of Eau Claire; seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Carrie Zimmer; brother, John “Jack” Staus; and granddaughter, Katie Osterwind. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. (Carlson Funeral Home)
