Free virtual grief support offered

To help those grieving the loss of a loved one this holiday season, Ascension at Home – Woodruff is offering a free virtual presentation, “Handling the Holidays While Grieving,” on Thursday, Dec. 3, 2020, from 1 – 2:30 p.m. The interactive program will be led on Zoom, and participants will be provided with materials via email or U.S. Mail for use during the session.

“Handling the Holidays While Grieving” is designed for people experiencing loss, whether this will be the first or one of many holiday seasons spent without their loved one. Ascension at Home’s grief support services are available to everyone in the community. Ascension at Home is part of Compassus, a nationwide network of community-based hospice, palliative and home health care services.
