On Oct.19,2020, the Dinky Diner lost their number one patron and Jarp Industrustries lost their most au natural employee. Travis Larson died of an apparent heart attack in Azrou, Morocco. Azrou is where he was laid to rest. Travis is preceded in death by his parents, Bunny and Jan Babe; an older sister, Teresa; and his fur babies, Brutus and Hans. He left behind another sister, Julie; his brother, Darwin; and his fiancé, Wiame.

Travis was born Dec. 3, 1972, on a bitter winter day. He grew up in Sugar Camp and attended Three Lakes High. There he discovered his love for wrestling. He received many trophies and medals for his hard work. This would later lead to a mid-life crisis…he felt that old tingle in his singlet and decided cage fighting was something he ought to try. Not a real big success but the Legend of The Viking Hammer was born.

He leaves behind silk wrestling shorts, the Viking Hammer robe and a sweat rag that will be used later to clone him. Oh, the crude and inappropriate jokes he could tell with such flare and tenacity. He was a straight shooter and a private person. A good friend to have to the end. He was a collector of quirky antiques ranging from ashtrays, a strange ram lamp, chairs of all different shapes and sizes, a beheading sword and numerous other chachkas. He knew his family and friends were the most important things in life. He also knew the joy of a good cup of coffee in the morning, safety in a butter knife, and a good lady can make you feel on top of the heap.

From our family we give Wiame, his fiancé, a big shout out. She knew how to train and mold a man like no other. Kudos to you girl. Travis grew to love and cherish the good times and laugh at the crappy ones. This is for you, Omar, give them hell up there. We are going to miss you. From the Loving Family of Travis Lee Larson.
