Jean Edith Somers, age 85, died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2020, at Mayo Hospice Care in Rochester, Minn. She was born June 11, 1935, in Harshaw to Carl and Ethel Boote.

Jean is survived by her daughters, Becky (Dan) Richer, Samantha Johnson (Wayne Eskola); four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Patricia Heikkinen, Shirley Zerbe, and Ruth Boote. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray; daughter and son-in-law, Kaye and Mark Juel; brothers, Roger Boote and Laverne Boote; and sister, Doreen Boote.
