Soccer sectional semi-finals were played Thursday evening and the Hodags hosted the Medford Raiders for a chance to move on. The teams split their games during the regular season with each winning at home. The Hodags were hoping to continue that trend and move on to play in Medford for a chance to go to the state finals in Marshfield.

The first half ended in a scoreless tie with each team having its chances to score. Medford would change the score with 40.27minutes remaining in the game to go ahead 1-0. The Hodags continued to put pressure on the defense of Medford but could not put a ball past the Medford keeper.

Medford would score again with 23.11 minutes left in the game to make it 2-0 and that would be the final score and the end of the Hodag season.
