Electronics recycling event Friday, Saturday

NATH/Frederick Place is participating in an electronics recycling event 8 a.m.-6 p.m., Friday, Aug. 14 and 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, Aug. 15, at Charter NEX Films on Red Arrow Drive in Rhinelander.

Just about any electronic device with a cord or circuit board are accepted, including computers, laptops keyboards, scanners, fax machines, televisions, VCRs, DVD players, game systems, cords and wire, cell phones, A/C units, dehumidifiers, microwaves, vacuums, stereos.

Not accepted are large appliances, batteries or bulbs of any kind, ink cartridges or toners, liquids, paints or chemicals. Remain in your vehicle; items will be unloaded and payment taken at the vehicle.

Most items are 40-cents per pound. All proceeds will benefit NATH/Frederick Place and the Good News Project of Wausau. For more information, 715-843-5985.
