Saturday, Sept. 22

Hodag Hoedown: Noon-6 p.m., The Woodpecker Bar and Grill, Hwy. K Rhinelander. Family activities, live music, country store, bake sale, raffles, hay rides, food, bounce house and more. Meeting Dementia: 9 a.m.-noon at St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church in Rhinelander. Presented by Healing Moments, geared toward everyone who has interaction with individuals with dementia. Register in advance by emailing [email protected] or call 715-420-0066. Event is free and open to the public.

Monday, Sept. 24

Tuesday, Sept. 25

National Voter Registration Day Event: 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Rhinelander District Library and 4-7 p.m. at the Minocqua Public Library. Members of the League of Women Voters of the Northwoods available to assist eligible voters to register using MyVote.wi.gov. Bring driver’s license or WI state ID. Wednesday, Sept. 26

In Progress: 7-9 p.m., last Wednesday of every month, at ArtStart Rhinelander. An evening dedicated to sharing your craft, however finished it may be: storytelling, poetry, music, comedy, theater, etc. Reserve your spotlight by text, 715-550-0177 or phone, 715-362-4328.

Thursday, Sept. 27

Parent/Tot Time: 10 a.m., Thursdays, Rhinelander District Library. Twenty-minute program for ages two to three-and-a-half accompanied by an adult. Also Story Time at 10 a.m., Thursdays, Rhinelander District Library. A 40-minute program for ages three-and-a-half to six. Veteran’s Coffee Social: 9 a.m.at Eagle River Roasters. Northland Pines School District Administrator Mike Richie welcomes all veterans, coffee, sweet rolls, conversation and fellowship. Held at 339 W. Pine St., Eagle River.
