Obituary: Harry J. Kroll

Harry James Kroll, age 74 of Rhinelander, died Sunday, Aug. 19, 2018, at home with his family at his side following a long battle with cancer. He was born Oct. 10, 1943 to Harry R. and Emeline H. (Kukla) Kroll in Manistee, Mich.

Harry is survived by his wife, Jean (DesCamp); his children, Andrea (Paul) Kroening of Brooklyn Park, Minn., Lisa (Robert) Netzer of Bloomington, Minn., and Alan (Trisha) Kroll of Brighton, Colo.; 11 grandchildren; his sister, Patricia (John) Herbst of Traverse City, Mich.; and a brother, Phillip (Rhonda) Kroll of Manistee, Mich.

A visitation for Harry will take place Fri., Aug. 24, at the Hildebrand Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m. The memorial Mass will be celebrated Sat., Aug. 25, at 7 p.m. at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church; Fr. Kevin Farrell will be officiating, along with Deacon Ron Bosi, Deacon Michael Harvey, Deacon Dick Meyer and Deacon Bill Miller. Immediately following the Mass, the Kroll family invites everyone to join them in the church cafeteria and the gathering space for a reception, fellowship and to celebrate Harry’s life. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Nativity Catholic Grade School or to NATH, Northwood Alliance for Temporary Housing. (Hildebrand Funeral Home)
