Obituary: Marvin A. Howard
Marvin A. Howard, age 86 of the town of Woodboro, died Monday, June 4, 2018, at Rennes Health & Rehab in Rhinelander. Marvin was born March 12, 1932, in Ladysmith to William and Gertrude Howard.
He is survived by his wife, Diana of Harshaw; children, Larry (Cathy) Howard of Columbia, S.C., Philip (Debra) Howard of Tomahawk, Virginia (Robert) Larsen of Elk River, Minn., Bradley (Mary) Howard of Osceola, and son-in-law, Brian (Michelle) Arnott of Tomahawk; eight grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; four stepchildren, Joanna (John) Case of Park Falls, Bob (Donna) Campbell of Arizona, Candice (Mitch) Miller of Wisconsin, David (Jennie) Richert of Illinois; seven step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Rufus (Caroline) Howard of Kokomo, Ind., David (Peggy) Howard of Kokomo, Ind., and one brother-in-law, Jimmy Hinz of Bruce.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine Howard; one daughter, Wendy Arnott; grandson, Benjamin Larsen; three sisters and five brothers.
Visitation for Marvin will be held Saturday, June 9 from 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral at Sara Park Pavilion in Tomahawk. Pastor Alex Lindsay will be officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Greenwood Cemetery, Tomahawk. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Marvin may be given to the family. (Hildebrand Funeral Home)
