Donald C. Mills, age 83, of Rhinelander, died Jan. 18, 2018, at Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital in Rhinelander. He was born Dec. 11, 1934, in Milwaukee to George and Lena (Niehoff) Mills. He served in the Army 1957-59 and then served with the reserves until 1963.

Don is survived by his son, Mark (Robin) Mills; one grandson; two great-grandchildren; and his sister, Beverly Melder. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce; and brother, George.

A gathering to honor Don’s life and share memories will take place from noon to 3 p.m., Jan. 21, at the Al Gen Dinner Club. (Carlson Funeral Home)
