Rhinelander Swim Club finished up the 2017 season Dec. 16 at Lakeland. Head Coach Megan Cihla said she continues to challenge the swimmers by entering them in longer events.

“Distance events are ones that kids tend to shy away from and think that they can’t do,” Cihla said. “For instance, I had three brand new to club swimmers compete in the 100Freestyle; Tessa Baker, Kristopher Harris, and Chris Larson, they did fantastic!”

Cihla said the highlight of the meet was Noelle St. Pierre’s 100 freestyle.

“In the swimming world to break 1:00 in the 100 freestyle is a huge step and Noelle finally did it this weekend,” Cihla explained.  “This is something she has been working on for a while now, and can finally say she achieved this goal.  I am very excited I got to witness this accomplishment and couldn’t be more proud of her and the other RSC swimmers”
