Obituary: Barbara M. Bauman

Barbara M. Bauman, age 81 of Rhinelander, died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2017, at her home under the care of her family.  She was born Aug. 12, 1935, in Chicago, Ill. to Clarence and Martha (Svensdahl) Aubert.

Barb is survived by her husband, Leonard Bauman of Rhinelander; five children, Marian (Brian) O’Melia of Summerville, S.C., James Polinski of Rhinelander, Roy Polinski of Wausau, Theresa Blaszke of Rhinelander, and John (Marti) Polinski of East Prairie, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; great-grandchildren; step-children, Carrie (Richard) Schubert of Crystal City, Mo., Leonard Bauman, Jr. of Clearwater, Fla., and Sharon Pickard of Festus, Mo.; five step-grandchildren; brother, Richard (Diane) Aubert of Chicago, Ill.; and sister-in-law, Ruby Aubert of Williston, S.C.;  nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Barb is preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Kenneth Aubert; and a step-daughter, Marsha Bauman.

The funeral service for Barb will be held at 12 p.m. Friday, Aug. 11, at the Carlson Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service Friday at the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Northland Memorial Park.  (Carlson Funeral Home)
