St. Mark’s donates school supplies
STAR JOURNAL REPORT
St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Rhinelander is helping to supply students with the items they need for a successful school year.
The church donated over 200 pounds of notebooks, crayons, paper, pencils and other supplies for distribution to children of families using the Rhinelander Area Food Pantry (RAFP). Leroy Eades, RAFP volunteer, is pictured accepting the donation from Gene Belmas, representing St. Mark’s.
This is the sixth year the church has made such a donation, and according to Belmas, it has set a new record for the larges amount donated.
