Paul Bunyan Fest will again take place in downtown Eagle River Wednesday, Aug. 13, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is co-sponsored by the Eagle River Area Chamber of Commerce and First National Bank of Eagle River. Chain saw carving demonstrations by Ken Schels, more than 80 arts and craft booths, live musical entertainment by the Pinery Boys and the Paul Bunyan Fest beef sandwich and luncheon will all be featured. Food will be served starting at 11 a.m., and will be available while supplies last.
The Eagle River Area Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center invites artists and crafters to display their Northwoods themed and other handmade crafts for sale at the event. Paul Bunyan Fest is held rain or shine and more than 2,500 people attend.
For more information about Paul Bunyan Fest and the arts and crafts Show, call Kim Emerson, events coordinator, at (715) 479-6400 or (800) 359-6315; or visit www.eagleriver.org and click on “events.”
