Updated Thurs., 5/17 – Tonight, Thursday, May 17, the Rhinelander High School girl’s soccer team is going pink for breast cancer awareness. There are two games tonight beginning with the JV team playing at 4:30 p.m. against Hurley, and the Varsity team playing against Medford at 5 p.m.

The players will be playing in honor or memory of family members who have died, are fighting the battle and those that have won their individual battle against breast cancer.

The girls would also like to play for those past and present SDR employees who have experienced breast cancer. The names of those employees will be read at halftime of the varsity game.

Fans and family members are asked to wear pink and support this worthwhile cause and the girl’s soccer team.
