Minocqua Police looking for help in residential burglary

Updated Wed., 5/16 – On May 9, at approximately 12:38 p.m., the Minocqua Police Department responded to the report of a burglary at the residence of 13309 Patterson Trail in Minocqua. The suspects gained entry into the residence by forced entry. The Minocqua Police Department is currently following-up on several leads.

Some of the items reported as stolen were as follows:

– Ruger .22 Caliber Pistol Auto Mark II
– Remington .22 Caliber Rifle Single Shot Bolt
– Stevens 12 Gauge Shot Gun 30″ barrel
– Unknown Make 12 Gauge Shot Gun 30″ barrel
– tanned fox hide
– wild boar mount 3″ to 4″ tusks
– 6 point mule deer mount
– 9 point white tail deer mount
– two 8 point white tail deer mounts
– 11 point white tail deer mount
– 14-16 point white tail deer mount
– Woodland Caribou mount
– Buffalo Head mount
– 50″ Musky mount
– Navy pistol holster and belt

This matter is still under investigation. Anyone with information of this or other crimes are encouraged to report it to the Minocqua Police Department at (715) 356-3234. Anyone choosing to remain anonymous may provide information to WeTip at (800) 78-CRIME (800-782-7463). Rewards of up to $1,000 are available for information leading to a conviction.
