RHINELANDER – An Oneida County jury has found a Rhinelander woman guilty of first degree reckless homicide/deliver drugs in the April 2022 death of 29-year old Kyle Polinski of Rhinelander.
Jasmine M. Lariviere, 25, was also found guilty of possession with intent to deliver narcotics, possession with intent – cocaine, and two counts of felony bail jumping. Oneida County Assistant District Attorney Mary Sowinski argued that Lariviere and Malik I. Jones, 25, delivered a substance that resulted in Polinski’s death. Polinski’s cause of death, according to a forensic pathologist report, was fentanyl toxicity. Jones pleaded guilty to first degree reckless homicide one year ago and is serving a prison sentence of 11.5 years.
Lariviere, who was remanded to the Oneida County jail, will be sentenced following a pre-sentence investigation, which is due in 90 days. She faces a sentence of up to 60 years in prison.
