Aspirus accepting applications for paid CNA training
For the Star Journal
RHINELANDER – Aspirus Health has partnered with Nicolet College in Rhinelander to offer a paid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training Program.
The accelerated five-week program allows participants to receive the education and experience needed to become a Certified Nursing Assistant, with added financial support to help guarantee success.
Applications are due Feb. 20, 2024, for the March 20 class starting date.
When accepted into the program, participants receive paid tuition, course materials, scrubs and a stipend that will allow them to dedicate full-time attention to training for their new career.
Class enrollment is planned monthly and limited to 10 individuals per session. Once an individual has completed classes, a clinical rotation at an Aspirus location, and certification exams, they will be offered a full-or-part-time CNA position within the Aspirus system.
Applicants will take part in phone interviews as part of the process and any offer to enroll in the program is contingent upon pre-employment physical and background checks.
