Green Bay Packers players to visit Northwoods

The Green Bay Packer’s Tailgate Tour will make two stops in the area next month. Current players Aaron Jones, Elgton Jenkins and Romeo Doubs will be joined by alumni players Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, Eddie Lacy and Davon House and Packers President and CEO Mark Murphy when the bus stops in Minocqua April 14, and the Rhinelander Habitat for Humanity ReStore April 15.

The Boys & Girls Club of the Northwoods will be hosting a Great Futures even 5:30 p.m. April 14 at Lakeland Aviation at the Minocqua Airport. The evening will include Q & A with Packers, activities , food and drinks, door prizes, silent auction and music.

Tickets are $50 and can be purchased here. Sponsorship opportunities are also available, which include VIP passes for a meet and greet with the Packers. For more information, contact Tammy Walrath at 715-627-1389, ext. 7 or email [email protected].

Habitat for Humanity ReStore will be hosting a photo opportunity with the Packers Tailgate Tour participants 9-10 a.m. Saturday, April 15. Photos will be available in exchange for a $20 donation.

Other scheduled stops include Eau Claire and Ashland High School. Along the route the group will visit schools, hospitals, businesses, retirement homes, event venues and community centers to present donations and giveaway items, and visit will fans of all ages.
