Missing area man found deceased

A Lac du Flambeau man who had not been seen since Nov. 14 has been located. A press release from the Lac du Flambeau Tribal Police reported that Calvin Lee Wolfe Sr., 30, was found deceased this morning.
Residential and wooded areas throughout the Lac du Flambeau Reservation were searched on foot by law enforcement, the DNR, LDF Natural Resource Department and others, and community members. The Newbold Search and Rescue canine and its handler discovered Wolfe’s body.
Calvin’s mother, Sheila Flores spoke on behalf of her family.
“We are devastated, but we are thankful and relieved that Calvin has been found,” Flores said. “We would like to thank all those who helped during this past week, including everyone who searched for Calvin. We appreciate all of the help, support and prayers.”
