Ages 18 and up, stop by 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, May 25

Over 50% of Oneida County residents have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. If you are in the half that hasn’t, and would like to be vaccinated, the Oneida County Health Department (OCHD) is hosting a pop-up vaccine clinic 4-6 p.m. today, May 25, at the Rouman Cinema.

No appointment needed and the vaccines are free. OCHD will provide the Moderna or the Johnson & Johnson vaccine to anyone age 18 and older. As a bonus, Rouman Cinema will be providing free popcorn to anyone who gets vaccinated.

A press release from the OCHD states that the “COVID-19 vaccine is very safe. The vaccine can protect you from getting sick and potentially prevent you from spreading the virus to those around you. Getting vaccinated will be one of the best ways to protect yourself, your community, and bring this pandemic to an end.”
