Thursday night the Hodag boys hosted the Antigo Red Robins for the last conference game of the season. The Hodags had defeated the Red Robins in Antigo earlier in the season 73-33 and were hoping to duplicate that feat. Coach Derek Lemmens started all seniors on senior night as the seven seniors were honored before the game.

The game was up and down as the Hodags scored several threes in the first half and led by 9 at the half 38-29. The Hodags led by as many as 20 in the second half before Antigo began to sink threes and close the gap before the Hodags would play a bit better defense, shoot and make free throws down the stretch to win the last game before the playoffs begin with an 81-67 win.

Quinn Lamers was high scorer with 20 points followed by Ross Skeen with 12 and Jackson Labs the other Hodag with double digits and 11 points. The Hodags now wait for the winner Tuesdays game between Mosinee and Wausau East.for a game next Friday in Rhinelander.
