No. 33 Tyler Olson and Joe Fugle combine to make a tackle for a loss.

A beautiful fall evening had the Hodags visiting Merrill for the third game of the 2020 season, looking for its third conference win.

Merrill won the coin toss and deferred their choice to the second half giving the ball to the Hodags to open the game.

The Hodags took the opening kick-off and on the second play from scrimmage quarterback Quinn Lamers tossed to running back Cayden Neri and it was off to the races as he scored a touchdown from 59 yards out.

The run set the tone for the game as the Hodags would go on to score six touchdowns on the night. By half-time Rhinelander held a 35-0 lead and put the game into run time for the second half.

Next Friday the Hodags host Ashland, a team the Hodags had to defeat last year to make the playoffs, which they did.
