Lake Tomahawk woman allegedly shoots boyfriend

Star Journal report

A Lake Tomahawk woman was arrested early Monday morning after calling the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) to report she had shot her boyfriend in the shoulder. According to the OCSO, Christine R. Stammler, 58, allegedly shot the man in the right shoulder during “a prolonged domestic dispute.”

Blunt was transported to Aspirus Hospital in Wausau and Stammler was brought to the Oneida County Jail. The incident remains under investigation; charges are pending.
