Former Rhinelander teacher charged with child sexual assault

A James Williams Middle School teacher resigned her position following her arrest May 15 on charges she had sexual intercourse with a child (age 16 or older). Stephanie M. Pudlowski, 38, appeared via video in Oneida County Circuit Court Branch II Monday, May 18. She was also charged with sexual assault of a child by foster parent, a class C felony.
According to court records, Pudlowski is out on a signature bond and will next appear in court June 15, for an adjourned initial appearance.
A class C felony is punishable by a a maximum 25 years in prison and up to 15 years extended supervision.
