Staff from Ascension St. Mary’s Behavioral Health held a bake sale last month to raise awareness during National Suicide Prevention Week. The staff also spoke with people about suicide, how to recognize signs and how to guide people to get the help they need.

The $1,029 in proceeds were donated to NAMI Northern Lakes and the Northern Lakes drop-in center.
