Friday, Oct. 26

FUNdraiser: 5-8 p.m., CT’s Deli fundraiser for Northwoods United Way. Guest bartenders Brian Fritz and Nancy Sattler serving beverages, full menu until 7 p.m., live music, raffles, CT’s donates 50 percent of bar sales.
Not So Scary Halloween Trail: 5-7 p.m., sponsored by YMCA of the Northwoods on the Stoney Pines Trail. Park in the ice arena lot and follow the path to the 3/4 mile trail. Community groups, businesses and volunteers hand out candy. For more information, call 715-362-9622.
Rummage and Bake Sale: 9 a.m.-noon, American Legion Hall in Minocqua. Sponsored by the UMW Church of the Pines. Proceeds support missions. Bag Sale. For more information, call Sue, 715-358-0343.
Karaoke for Hospice: 6 p.m., Quality Inn, Rhinelander. Benefit to support end-of-life care and bereavement support provided by Ascension at Home in Rhinelander area. Advance tickets available or at the door. For more information, contact Sarah, 800-643-4663.
Northwoods Ukers: 2-3 p.m., Olson Memorial Library in Eagle River. Every Friday. All are welcome to learn, jam, and have fun. For more information, call 715-272-1036.
Bad Auditions By Bad Actors: 7 p.m., Three Lakes School Auditorium. Comedy performed by the Three Lakes Drama Club. Save $1 off admission with donation of a non-perishable food item. Bake sale before play and during intermission.

Saturday, Oct. 27

Indoor Farmers Market: 9 a.m.-noon at YMCA of the Northwoods. Weekly vendors vary; products sold to include eggs, root crops and mixed vegetables, pumpkins, apples, jams, jellies, salsa, cheese, homemade breads and more. For more information, call 715-362-9622 ext. 118.
Warm For Winter: 10 a.m.-noon, Friendly Village, 900 Boyce Drive, Rhinelander. All sizes and types of clothing, footwear and bedding for the entire family, all free. Bring a bag to fill. No income restrictions, no questions asked. Open last Saturday of every month through February. Call Jan for more information, 715-362-7157.
Spaghetti Dinner for KIN: 4:30-7 p.m., First Congregational Church, Rhinelander. All proceeds benefit the programs to assist at-risk youth offered by Kids Impacting our Neighborhood, serving Oneida and Vilas counties.
Downtown Trick or Treat: 2-4 p.m., downtown Rhinelander. Children and families can visit businesses with orange pumpkins in the window. Sponsored by Downtown Rhinelander, Inc.
Trunk or Treat: 2-4 p.m. at the parking lot of Calvary Baptist Church on Lincoln Street, Rhinelander. Vehicles will be decorated with fun themes. Free for all to attend. Rain or shine. For more information, call the church, 715-362-4792.
Halloween Open House: Noon-4 p.m., Rhinelander Historical Society, 9 S. Pelham St. Tour the museum and enjoy apple cider and Halloween treats for the children. Free admission.
Drug Take Back: 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Minocqua, Rhinelander and Three Lakes police departments and Oneida County landfill. Bring unused medications, vitamins, ointments, pet medications and the like to dispose of. Free and anonymous. Contact your local police department for more information.
Buck and Fall Colors: 1-4 p.m., watercolor class at CAVOC. Ages 10-adult. Instructor is Sharon Reilly. Program through School District of Rhinelander Community Education. Register online at district website. Contact Mike with questions, 715-365-9745.

Sugar Camp Community Trick or Treat: 5-7 p.m.

Monday, Oct. 29

Baby Storytime: 10:15 a.m. Mondays, Rhinelander District Library. Twenty-minute program designed for ages six months to two years; simple stories, fingerplays and music. Social/playtime follows. 715-365-1070 ext. 1073.
4K Storytime: 10-10:45 a.m., Rhinelander District Library. Geared to four and five-year-olds, featuring stories, fingerplays, songs and action rhymes followed by a craft. For more information, call 715-365-1070.
Referendum Information Meeting: 5 p.m., Crescent Elementary School Library, 3319 Boyce Drive. Learn about why the referendum is necessary to maintain current School District of Rhinelander programming and staffing levels. Visit Rhinelander.k12.wi.us. for more information.

Tuesday, Oct. 30

Demmer Memorial Library Story Hour: 9:30-10:30 a.m. at 123 Lakes Dance Studio at the Sugar Camp School, every Tuesday in October. Books, songs and crafts for preschool age children and caregivers. Call 715-546-3391 for more information.
Music Garden: 5:30-6:15 p.m., Tuesdays through Nov. 6 at Crescent Elementary School music room. For birth to five years with an adult caregiver. Tondra Koser from Family Resource Connection instructs. $10/per family. Part of the School District of Rhinelander Community Education program. Migraine Education Program: 4:30-5:30 p.m., conference rooms 1 and 2 at Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital. Free program will be followed by question and answer session. For more information, call 715-361-4560.

Wednesday, October 31

The Table: 5:30 p.m., a free community meal, served at Saint Augustine’s Church in Rhinelander at 39 South Pelham Street. In case of questions call the church office 715-420-0066.
In Progress: 6-9 p.m., ArtStart Rhinelander. An evening dedicated to sharing your craft, however finished it may be. Storytelling, poetry, music, comedy, theater, film and all things creative.
