STAR JOURNAL REPORT

A Rhinelander woman will appear in Oneida County Circuit Court today for allegedly hiring a hit man to kill her husband.

According to a Rhinelander Police Department press release, Megan M. Danielczak, 27,  met in Rhinelander with an undercover agent from the Wisconsin Department of Justice-Division of Criminal Investigations Feb. 14 and allegedly made a down payment to the agent with the understanding that the agent, posing as a hit man, would kill Danielczak’s husband “very soon,” and would pay the balance after his  had been killed. She was arrested Thursday in Tomahawk.

Danielczak’s initial appearance is scheduled for 1:15 p.m.
