Seventy-year veterans honored

On Wednesday April 9th, Bronsted-Searl Post 93 of the American Legion presented WWII veteran Dean Berghammer with a certificate commemorating his 70 years as a member of Post 93. The presentation was made at Bell Tower in Merrill where Dean, originally from Tomahawk, now resides.  Also in attendance were his sons Allen and Richard and numerous other members of his family as well as many of the residents who live at Bell Tower.

In addition, on April 21st at 6:45 p.m., American Legion Post 93, of Tomahawk, will be presenting 70-year continuous membership certificates to Robert A. Koth and Howard Hetzel. The Ceremony will take place at the American Legion Post, 327 West Wisconsin Ave. Tomahawk. All are invite to  join.
