Three Lakes students perform at the Northern Lakes Conference Solo and Ensemble Festival

On Friday March 7, music students from the Three Lakes School District performed at the Northern Lakes Conference Solo and Ensemble Festival in White Lake.

High School students earning a starred first rating and qualifying for the State Festival are:
Karlie Stefonik, alto sax solo; Lindsay Schoff, trombone solo; Rachel Kane, snare drum solo; Brendan Stoehr, snare drum solo; Bella Devereaux and Karlie Stefonik, alto sax duet; Jacob Ribbe and Lindsay Schoff, trumpet and trombone duet; Gavin Maney and Brooke Stefonik, trumpet duet; and the saxophone trio of Karlie Stefonik, Bella Devereaux, and Amara George.

Vocal music students heading to state are:  Bella Devereaux, soprano solo and musical theater solo; Natalie Miller, alto solo; Anya Fairchild, alto solo and musical theater solo; Maddie Draeger, baritone solo; Bella Devereaux and Natalie Miller, duet; Anya Fairchild and Kinsey Queen, duet; and the double trio of Bella Devereaux, Anya Fairchild, Natalie Miller, Kinsey Queen, Morgan Wobschall, and Cassie Walkowski.

Performing in Class A and receiving a first place rating were: Emma Fath, soprano solo; Kylie Gorney, piano solo; and Anya Fairchild and Kylie Gorney, piano duet.

Class A second place ratings were earned by: Bella Devereaux, alto sax solo; and Anna Kroll, alto solo.

Performing in class B and receiving a first place rating for band were:  Will Starke, trombone solo; Anna Kroll, trombone solo; and Eva Senter, trumpet solo. Class B first place ratings were earned by vocalists Makenna Kalata and Riley Weisenburger for their duet.

Class B second place ratings were earned by Ben Metzger for his tenor sax solo, and Emma Fath and Anna Kroll for their vocal duet.

Three Lakes Junior High Results:
Junior High vocalists qualifying for state are:  Savannah Edwards, soprano solo; Lucy Kaufman, alto solo; Romi Remick, soprano solo; Marilyn Servent, soprano solo; and  Eli Ribbe, piano solo.

Class A results for choir: Wolfgang Weinfurter received a first place rating for his vocal solo, and Romi Remick and Charley Deveraux earned a first place rating for their duet.

Jessica Tillman received a second place rating for her soprano solo, and Grace Klesczewski received a second place rating for her piano solo.

In Class B, first place ratings were earned by: Kelvin Pitlik, alto sax solo; Eli Ribbe, trombone solo; Marilyn Servent, euphonium solo; Cara Swendson and Cassidy Crump, sax duet; Haley Ledbetter and Marilyn Servent, trumpet and trombone duet; and Kelvin Pitlik and Eli Ribbe, miscellaneous ensemble.

Class B vocalists receiving a first place rating were:  Charley Devereaux, alto solo; Emily Schmitt, soprano solo; Ayla Fairchild, alto solo; Kelvin Pitlik, baritone solo; Hadley Miles, alto solo; Romi Remick and Kelvin Pitlik, duet; Marilyn Servent and Jessica Tillman, duet; eighth grade special ensemble: Savannah Edwards, Romi Remick, Kayla Crump, Marilyn Servent, Lucy Kaufman, Grace Klesczewski, Charley Devereaux, Cara Swendson, Jessica Tillman, Cassidy Crump, Kelvin Pitlik, Alex Metzger, and Sam Welhoefer, and the seventh grade triple trio: Ayla Fairchild, Cheyanne Warren, Gracie Rehberg, Tiffiny Ruffie, Emily Schmitt, Hadley Miles, Grace Menut, Zoe Bruso, and Kate Fath.

Earning a second place rating in Class B were:  Tiffiny Ruffie, soprano solo and Cheyanne Warren, alto solo.

Class B third place ratings were given to: Alex Metzger, vocal solo; and Cara Swendson, soprano solo.

Class C ratings earned for band performances were:  Jessica Tillman, trumpet solo; Ethan Snyder, tuba solo; Charley Devereaux, clarinet solo; and Jackson Ledbetter, alto sax solo.

The vocal performance in Class C earning a first rating was the double duet of Sam Welhoefer, Cassidy Crump, Lucy Kaufman and Grace Klesczewski.
Class C second ratings were earned by band students Alex Metzger, trumpet solo; Cheyanne Warren, flute solo; and Jared Zwettler, tenor sax solo.
Vocalists earning a second place rating in class C were:  Kylie Domnick and Kendyl Garcia, vocal duet; Tiffiny Ruffie and Emily Schmitt, duet; and the double duet of Ayla Fairchild, Gracie Rehberg, Cheyanne Warren and Hadley Miles.

Performing on March 7 for comments only  were Sugar Camp sixth graders Trey Slizewski, alto solo; Cynthia Beavers,alto solo; the double duet of Cynthia Beavers, McKenzie Frankenberg, Brianna Retzlaff and Trey Slizewski; and the triple trio of Trey Slizewski, Brianna Retzlaff, McKenzie Frankenberg, Cynthia Beavers, Zandell Davis, Ethan Spears, Clark Mouw, Drake Martin, and Carter Pitlik.

Three Lakes sixth graders who also performed for comments only were:
Evan Senter, alto solo; Kristina Kaufman, soprano solo; Samuel Roberts, alto solo; Isabelle Thomaschefsky, alto solo; Jocelyn Bellemare, alto solo; Elizabeth Vold, alto solo; the double duet of Hannah Clough, Kourtnie Volk, Lily Medeiros-Harris and Grace Ribbe; and the double duet of Nyah Millis, Christinia Kubiak, Elizabeth Vold and Alexis Congleton.

Students who qualified for the State Solo and Ensemble Festival will be performing Saturday, May 3 at U.W. Stevens Point.
