Nicolet College students Carl Anderson and Craig Collins will be off to Indianapolis, Ind., the last week of April to compete in the Business Professionals of America (BPA) National Leadership Conference.

At the event, the two will be joined by others from across the nation to compete in a variety of business-related competitions and to attend numerous leadership workshops.

Anderson and Collins earned invitations to the national conference by putting in strong performances at a recent state competition in Green Bay.

In that competition, Anderson, from Rhinelander, earned 1st place, Computer Programming Concepts; 4th place, PC Servicing & Troubleshooting; and 5th place, Information Technology Concepts.

Collins, from Crandon, earned 2nd place, PC Servicing & Troubleshooting; 2nd place, Information Technology Concepts; 2nd place, Parliamentary Procedure Concepts; 3rd place, Fundamental Spreadsheet Applications; 3rd place, Spreadsheet Applications and Analysis; 4th place, Business Meeting Management; and 5th place, College Accounting.
