Clinic offers free program for National Diabetes Month

Ministry Medical Group in Rhinelander is hosting a free National Caregiver and Diabetes Month event, “Connecting you to Community Resources,” Wednesday, Nov. 20, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will be held in the galleria at Ministry Saint Mary’s Hospital, located at 2251 North Shore Drive. The Caregiver Alliance of the Northwoods and Ministry Diabetes Services will be featured.

Those attending will learn what it takes to stay healthy, find out about available resources and connect with Ministry Medical Group’s patient-centered medical home. Education sessions with featured speakers will be provided, including diabetes education and caregiver program education. In addition to the speakers, information tables will be available from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The event is open to the public and refreshments will be available.
