Rhinelander GM is in the I Buy Local Spotlight
Nationally non-profit organizations receive an average of 250 percent more support from small businesses.
One business in the Rhinelander community living out that philosophy is Rhinelander GM. Each employee carries a value card which reads in part, “The Value of Being a Good Community Citizen: We give willingly to and are actively involved in the support of our communities because they provide us our success.”
Recently Rhinelander GM helped to host GMC Youth Football, where about 75 kids got the chance to have some fun with the staff at Rhinelander GM. The kids were treated to a cookout, played some games to win prizes and Rhinelander GM presented a $500 donation to the Pop Warner Youth Football program.
Rhinelander GM Marketing Coordinator Tarsie Goes said the company works to live out their company values.
“We believe the community gives so much to us it’s only right for us to give back to them,” Goes said.
Rhinelander GM is a member of I Buy Local a program supported by the Rhinelander Area Chamber of Commerce and Downtown Rhinelander, Inc. to help bring a focus on how spending dollars locally helps support our community.
When visiting locally owned businesses like Rhinelander GM it allows them to continue to support the many community and non-profit organizations they support.
This week the I Buy Local Spotlight Business sign will be at Rhinelander GM to remind those in the community to continue to support Rhinelander businesses.
For more information on this program, contact the Chamber or Downtown Rhinelander.
