Ministry Home Care – Hospice will host their third annual Life’s Treasures Rummage and Bake Sale Saturday, Aug. 17, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Myre Electric Building located at N11585 Cty. Y in Tomahawk. Individuals who would like to sell their goods (rummage, craft or other) can reserve a booth for $20, and donate 10 percent of their day’s sales to Ministry Home Care – Hospice.

In addition, the bake sale will feature a variety of homemade goods, with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting the care of hospice patients and their families. Bakery donations are welcome. Anyone may deliver baked goods the day of the event, or contact the hospice office to make other arrangements.

While Medicare, Medicaid and most private insurance companies provide some funding for hospice care, many people are uninsured or underinsured. Ministry provides hospice care to anyone who is medically eligible, regardless of their ability to pay. Donations and events like this help to support that work.

To reserve a booth or for more information, contact Carol White at (715) 453-2821, Ann Jelinek at (715) 453-4573 or the Ministry Home Care office at (800) 643-4663.
