Letter: Successful contract negotiations should serve as an example by Greg Pence
Editor:
Your article regarding the successful negotiations at the mill was not only news gratefully received with relief, it contained words of wisdom for us all. People sitting down together to solve difficult problems, collective bargaining – it works. It has worked for years, not only for private unions, but also for public unions. It’s not divide and conquer. It’s not “my team is better than yours.” It’s not even “elections have consequences.” May the example set by KPS and the steelworkers serve as a guide for us all.
