According to unofficial election results on Oneida County’s website, voters in the School District of Rhinelander have approved a referendum that will allow the district to exceed revenue limits by $4 million each year for the next three years. The number of “yes” votes is 3,590, compared to 2,454 “no” votes.

Voters in the school districts of Three Lakes and Northland Pines also approved referendums that allow those districts to exceed state revenue limits. In Three Lakes, 1,102 votes were cast in favor of the school referendum, compared to 346 against. In the Northland Pines district referendum, voters were faced with two questions about exceeding state revenue limits. Voters said “yes” to both questions, 39 to 28 on the first, and 40 to 27 on the second.

In the primary for the Three Lakes town board chair, Stella Westfall garnered 347 votes, Don Sidlowski had 275 votes and Bill Slizewski had 171 votes.

In the primary for two school board seats in the School District of Three Lakes, Steve Garbowicz had 558 votes, John Olkowski Jr. had 543 votes, Kari Volk had 504, Ann Ovsak had 440 and Terry McCloskey had 439.

In the primary race for Wisconsin Supreme Court, incumbent Pat Roggensack and challenger Ed Fallone defeated Vince Megna. Roggensack and Fallone will face off April 2.
