There will be a mini-triathlon sponsored by local businesses to benefit Wise Intentional Leadership Development (WILD) Aug. 24, 2013, on and near Holiday Acres Resort in Rhinelander. The 300-yard swim will take place in Lake Thompson, the 10K bike portion will take place on dual track logging roads near Holiday Acres and the 5K run will be next to Holiday Acres through woods and hills toward the Cedric A. Vig Outdoor Classroom (CAVOC) property.

Those wishing to participate as individuals, or as part of a two- to three-person team, may resister and pay the entry fee at hodagtriathlon.com when the website is active in January. The entry is $65 and all proceeds will benefit WILD, a Rhinelander-based international ministry group that focuses on developing youth leadership skills predominantly in Africa and India at this time.

For more information or to sign up before the website is active, contact Tim Thorsen at (715) 365-5252.
