Take a “Walk in the Wild” with family, friends, co-workers or a leashed dog Saturday, Oct. 20, at the North Lakeland Discovery Center in Manitowish Waters.
The 2.5-mile walk is a fundraiser for Wild Instincts. Proceeds will go toward rehabilitation and release of injured, ill and orphaned wildlife in the area.

At the event, participants will also have a chance to meet Mark Naniot, co-founder of Wild Instincts, and learn more about the organization.

The bake sale and registration begin at 9 a.m. and walk will begin at 10 a.m. The registration/sponsorship fee for each participant is $20.

For more information and to download a sponsorship form, log on to wildinstinctsrehab.com or discoverycenter.net, or call Jo Duller at (715) 385-2410.
