It’s that time again when the choir at Calvary Baptist Church, 320 Lincoln St. in Rhinelander, begins rehearsals for their Christmas Cantata. Once again they would like to invite area singers to join them in celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ.

This year’s cantata, entitled And on Earth…Peace, was written by Randy Vader, Jay Rouse and Rose Aspinall, and published by Praise Gathering music group. This 47 minute video-enhanced production includes well known songs such as “Do You Hear What I Hear?” and “Let There Be Peace on Earth” plus new arrangements.

Rehearsals are scheduled to begin Sunday, Sept. 23, at 5 p.m., at the church, and continue until the performance in December. Come join the celebration.

For more information, call the church at (715) 362-4792.
